Self-doubt can be a useful ally, provided it does not dominate our thoughts with excessive emotion. It serves as an indicator of aspiration. It reflects the love of what one is doing and the desire to do it. It is the will to a constructive innovation.
The counterfeit innovator hides his ineptitude behind ostentatious braggadocio. The true innovator is scared to death. Yet he/she still does what needs to be done.
